ReplyDeletewell, thanks for the compliment. i hope i'm getting pictures that aren't like everyone else's. i once had a photographer friend of mine tell me that when she looked at a picture she immediately knew whether or not i had taken it. she said i had a certain "style." but darned if i know what it is.
DeleteThe one of the Greyhound's head in the hands is probably one of my all time favorite photographs, especially by you, along with the one of Amelia at the beach!
ReplyDeletethe "head-in-hands" shot was just off-the-cuff: i think i've mentioned that before. and amelia's shot was just aim at the sun: the camera will try to expose the sun properly and render everything else as silhouettes. anyone that do it -- just don't stare at the sun.
DeleteBeautiful shots. I can see why they are your favorites.
ReplyDeletelighting is mostly everything to me in a picture.
DeleteBreath taking ! ! ! Thanks for sharing ! ! !
ReplyDeletethank you! i'm glad you enjoyed these.
DeleteThat is my all-time favorite picture of Jesse! You are such an amazing photographer. :)
ReplyDeletewhat got into him that day? does he look around like that as you carried him while on his back? i was just amused by his laid-back behavior, considering he doesn't take any crap from the greyhounds who check him out. i bet he could've stayed like that all day if you let him. oh, and his pj's were pretty cool, too.
DeleteHe does like being picked up and held, and if he trusts the holder, he will relax and let his head roll around. He's so funny, he's such a badass most of the time, but he likes being treated like a baby too, when he's not on badass duty. ;)
