  1. Another beautiful series. Great pics from Dewey. Love Speed Racer's mischievous look.

    1. the sky was such a monotonous gray and so uninteresting i found myself having to add at least a half-stop of exposure to lighten things up. then i added a graduated filter on gypsy's picture to make the sky a little more dramatic. i found i liked the overexposure effect and have used it a number of times. whether others like it or not i have no idea.

    1. it seems like the few dogs that i know of named "sadie" are also black. i wonder why that is the case, but it is a popular name. we have to thank our daughter for choosing it.

  3. I love all of them, but the ones of Holly, Heyokha, Violet and Boo are all just stunners for me!

    1. i am lucky that every one of them show great tolerance when i point a camera at them. i think it's a testament of the greyhound's personality.

  4. All beautiful shots again! But that's no surprise :) I love the one of 'Cat and Sully', so sweet!

    1. i had a hard time trying to figure out how to crop their picture. and i actually asked cat if she wouldn't mind postponing her session one day because initially her session was in the afternoon, and the shadows and sunlight were terrible. this picture was taken late the following morning. i'm glad she understood that i wanted them to be in the best lighting possible.
