Nikki waits

She waits for us at the bridge...in the same way she waited for Gayle to come home at the end of a work day:

Four years ago last week...and it still doesn't seem real that she left.

    What a pretty girl she was! I still get nostalgic on May 5 when Treat left us, too. It's hard not to miss them!

      she was beautiful. i look at her pictures when we first her and when she was all white-faced, and she was beautiful either way.

      she was such a good girl. we got her as a companion for alex, but she really was our daughter's heart dog.

      i wish we had more time with her, but we say that for every pet we've had. but greyhounds? -- there is nothing else like them.
