Meanwhile, down at the farm...
(Shot with the Nikon D600 using the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens; shutter-priority with shutter speed set to 1/250 second at f/22 at ISO 800; auto white balance; matrix-metered; normal JPG; processed with Lightroom.)
I spent a lot of time removing dust/oil specks from the picture. At f/22 I didn't really need to close down that much but I was paying more attention to what Jean-Marie and the puppies were doing and trying to get the "moment."
But, ugh...cleaning up all the specks afterwards is why I don't shoot as closed-down as that.
It's the HDR medium preset that came with Lightroom, I think. I don't normally do HDR because I see so many HDR pictures that are overly processed to my taste. But I thought I might try it out on this particular picture since I didn't bracket.
What a lovely shot! The sun and clouds really enhance this.

Everything is so rich looking. Like ann HDR image.
