Oh, I am so sorry to hear this! They were both beautiful hounds. My heart goes out to their family!
ReplyDeletelinda was very proud of hoover because he accepted dog treats from me towards the end of their photoshoot. he was terribly shy of children and men. it's why a lot of hoover's photos are from a distance.
DeleteBeautiful shots. I was so sad to hear of the fire. At least their owner will have some awesome memories.
ReplyDeleteit was like a punch to my gut when i first read of the news. i wasn't sure i had read it quite right, so i went back over it several times. but i had read it correctly.
DeleteSo sad. So many hounds lost lately.
ReplyDeletethat's very true, unfortunately. and i have one more remembrance post drafted that i need to finish. it seems that, because i've taken a part of them in my photos, they take a part of me when they go.
DeleteMy heart goes out to you!
ReplyDeletethank you. the latest news is that their owner is beginning to improve a bit. seemed to be more with it today. it will be a long, slow recovery for her -- no doubt with rough spots.
