Hijinks on hold

Sadie's developed a bone spur on her right hind foot, so until we get that sorted out she won't be running or playing around with Katie like this:

Katie (front) and Sadie

I am amazed seeing her facial expressions when she plays.

(Shot with the Nikon D300 using the 18-200mm VR zoom; shutter-priority mode with shutter speed set to 1/1000 second; camera set aperture at f/4.8 at ISO 2000; auto white balance; normal JPG.)

    1. thanks, molly. we need to keep her relatively quiet, so no running or jumping. we'll see how it goes.

  4. I'm sure she misses playing like that. I love looking at pics and seeing things like their expressions that you can't see in real-time while it's happening.

    1. yeah, there's no way you'd could see an expression like that as it happened. that's why i'm curious to see what expressions she shows in pictures like these.

    1. the setting sun was at my 2 o'clock, so it was kind of dark. this picture was taken about four years ago in my in-law's backyard. they always have a good time playing there.
