ReplyDeleteshe's more pleased that we're letting her back on our bed. for the first couple of weeks after her amputation we were told to keep her from doing any jumping or running. we let her go as fast as she dared.

ReplyDeleteit must've been painful for her while that tumor was growing in her humerus, but she never let on that anything was wrong. i can't imagine how she did that.

ReplyDeletei've always liked the name, and it seemed to fit after we adopted her. there was no way we could use any part of her racing name.
DeleteI'm somewhat of a newcomer to the blog. What was her racing name? My parent's current adopted racer is named Ray, which is a nickname from his racing name -- Fuzzy's Raider.
Deleteher racing name was "leading home." unless one has quite the fertile imagination (because i don't have one) there was no proper name to be derived from it.

ReplyDeletetaking more pictures of her lately -- sadie, not so much. sadie did have a growth removed from one of her toes a few weeks back (fortunately, the growth was benign). she will get more pictures taken of her. my wife took a really nice backlit one of sadie a few days ago.
DeleteI haven`t ever seen so truly emotions on the dog`s muzzle. It`s fantasic! Katie`s deep eyes charmed me! Do you always allow her to lay on your bed?
ReplyDeleteanytime she wants she can get on our bed, and she favors lying at the head of the bed. she made it her favorite spot in the house right after we brought her home.
