I thought I'd write something about Katie enjoying a short ride down the street from our home and blah blah blah...
I'll let Katie's face tell you all you need to know how she's doing these days.
(Shot with the Nikon D600 using the 18-35mm zoom; program mode; 1/250 second at f/8 at ISO 800; auto white balance; center-weighted metered; shot in RAW, converted to DNG and imported into Lightroom.)
Does Katie ever not smile :) She always looks so happy. She should be a poster girl for something! She always makes me smile back.
ReplyDeleteshe doesn't at times, of course, and i try not to photograph her then. it just doesn't make for a photo that i'll be happy with.
DeleteShe looks so happy! What a fabulous and heart warming shot of her!
ReplyDeleteit's what you can get when you shoot blind: i aimed my camera in her direction and hoped i got her in focus. i had the ISO set high so i could get a small aperture and fast shutter speed while in program auto. i cropped most of the irrelevant stuff out of the picture.
DeleteSuch a happy girl. I try not to take unflattering pics of my pups either.
ReplyDeletei even save all the squinting pictures, but i don't post them.
DeleteHi Steve!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again, Tammy the Marketing Coordinator at The Uncommon Dog. We just finished another informative info-graphic that I thought you might be interested in. It's titled "How Dogs Became Our Best Friends!".
If you love dogs, like we do, then you'll love this story. Recent scientific breakthroughs have increased our understanding about how dogs have come to play such an integral part of our daily lives. This fun and engaging info-graphic tells that story in a way that we hope makes it accessible and interesting to everyone.
