she had a great name. and she was an awfully cute and sweet girl. we were told she smiled a lot whenever someone talked to her. i wanted to get a picture of her smiling after she did it for a few moments. this was the only photo i was able to get of her while she looking at us. she nodded her head a bit and exhaled through her teeth. it was so cute.
i took the photo on the morning i was leaving a friend's house to drive to gettysburg to do a session. he was 14 at the time, and he looked great. i was just struck by how he was illuminated by the sunlight coming through a front window. it was the only time i met him; he did not travel to any greyhound events, and i wanted to be sure i got a few pictures of him while i was there at the house.
it has been. i'm sorry about your losing stella. and i'm still pondering about katie could be dealt such an unfair hand to develop lymphoma while recovering from her osteo amp. she was doing so well, too.

Aww! :( May I just say that the name Pistachio may be the cutest I have ever heard? My heart goes out to their families.
